Funders & Donors

Many people ask how Black CAP raises money to do its work. We depend on a number of government and foundation funders to fund the programs and services we deliver in our community. We receive about $1.2 million in annual funding from funders such as:

  • Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care - AIDS Bureau
  • City of Toronto
  • Public Health Agency of Canada
  • Ontario Trillium Foundation
  • Youth Challenge Fund/United Way
  • Citizenship and Immigration Canada
  • MAC AIDS Fund
  • Counselling Foundation of Canada

We also depend on a number of corporate and community sponsors, sponsors include Johnson and Johnson, Mill St. Breweries, Block-o-rama, the Gladstone Hotel, Via Rail, Shire/Glaxo, Gilead, Abbott, and the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC).
